We are an English language solutions company catering to non-native markets like Japan. We edit as well as translate academic papers across all subject areas.
We are currently looking for a Freelance English to Japanese Web Content Writer/Translator who will be required to fulfill the Roles and Responsibilities as outlined below and satisfy the necessary requirements.
■ Tasks:
- Translating and writing of newsletter content:
Would be required to translate newsletter content from English to Japanese, make it attractive for the audience and finally produce well-structured content for the newsletter. This newsletter is published twice a month and it will be read by Japanese readers who want to improve their English writing skills. It provides tips and resources to the readers to help them write better academic papers.
- Writing website content in Japanese:
Would be required to write website content in Japanese as well as decide the format and presentation of text for website content after being explained about the objectives and intentions in English. Would also be required to translate the content to English.
- Writing ad descriptions in Japanese:
Would be required to write attractive ad descriptions in Japanese for an academic audience for the purpose of sales promotion, etc. These ads would be published in academic journals.
■ Required skills and knowledge:
- English writing skill (Intermediate)
- Japanese writing skill (Advanced)
- Knowledge about the academic industry
