Translation
Memory, in simple terms, remembers everything we have
previously translated for you. This means when
you send us a document we only translate new text
or edit similar text contained within that document.
Translation memory is applied to files both at the
beginning of the translation process (to check we
only translate new text) and at the end (to add all
this newly translated content to the memory).
The main benefits are:
You save money
There is no need to pay the full rate for text which
has been translated previously.
Faster turnaround times
The more content we translate, the larger the database
becomes, the less we have to translate on further
documents, the quicker we can return future translation
projects.
Consistency
By updating only new information, the style, tone
and usage of phrases and terminology within any document
will remain consistent with previously translated
material.
Translation memory will do all the work
Our system is colour coded to show us what's new and
what's not, right down to individual sentences, saving
hours of labour intensive checking and cross checking.
