My minimum rate is 0.09 Euro per source word.

But I prefer to work at 0.15 Euro per source word.

I charge for my services at least 15 Euro per hour.

And my minimum charge per document is 15 Euro.

I have not obtained an official translator / linguist degree, but I still provide high-quality language services.

I have been working as a translator since 2004.

I provide the following services: Translation, Proofreading, Interpretation (simultaneous), Teaching (Language Courses).

By today, I have translated about 100,000 to 500,000 words.

I use the following tools: Open office.

I am best in the following fields: Art / Crafts / Painting, Computers (General), Ecology & Environment, Folklore, Food / Nutrition, General, History, Linguistics, Real Estate, Religion, Sports / Recreation / Fitness, Travel & Tourism.

I am not a sworn translator.

Bilingual from an early age, I flit between English and French.

The first degree course I enrolled on was Modern Languages and Linguistics, majoring in French. Professionally, I have had the opportunity to act as an interpreter working in the Housing and Social Services Department of Haringey Council I London.

More recently, working for T-Systems on the Airbus ServiceDesk in Toulouse, translating documents, incident reports, Internal and External Communication from French to English.

I have lived in France almost as long as I have lived in the UK and other English speaking countries. Though my permanent residence is in France, due to family commitments, I am currently based in the Philippines for a few months, hence my desire for flexible work.

An avid reader in both languages, I love words. Their ability to stir up emotions, conjure up images in one's mind, entertain, educate... And I love the challenge of translating, exploiting words, retaining the essence of an original text.
