But I prefer to work at 0.20 Euro per source word.

I charge for my services at least 10 Euro per hour.

And my minimum charge per document is 20 Euro.

I have not obtained an official translator / linguist degree, but I still provide high-quality language services.

I have been working as a translator since 2010.

I provide the following services: Subtitling, Voice-over.

By today, I have translated about up to 10,000 words.

I do not use any computer aided translation tools.

I am currently trying to set out on a part-time career in translation as that is something I would really like to do. It also something I could fit around my current life-style. I have, however no formal training in translation, but I am currently finding out how to obtain training/qualifications in this area.
I have been working as a swedish tutor on an on/off basis for the last 7-8 years and have therefore gained experience and knowledge in working with languages. I have also a background in healthcare and have therefore some knowledge of the medical language. I have been living in this country (UK) since 1991 and obtained a Cambridge Proficiency Certirficate in 1992 apart from living and reading (regularly) the language for the past 19 years. My minimum rate p.w is 0.10-0.20 €.
