My translating/interpreting experience goes back to 1980 when I began working for the US Armed Forces in Panama until they departed in 1999. I've remained in constant exposure to the English language/translation duties in my jobs thereafter. I've been working for the Canadian Government in Panama since 2005 at the Canadian Embassy. I hold a translator’s degree after attending a 'Diplomado de Traduccion' at Universidad Latina de Panama, and possess a Certified Public Translator’s License, (English-Spanish-English), issued by the Ministry of Education of Panama. I’m an outside contractor for Wohl Communications, Inc. Within my plans, I plan to become an examiner for prospective certified translators.
