I am a qualified English to Spanish translator and hold a BA in English Studies and a Master´s Degree in Bilingual Translation from the University of Westminster, London. I have 12 years experience in the translation industry and have developed my career for the last 10 years with one of the largest names in localization, SDL plc.

I have translated over two million source words and proofread over four million. I have also managed translation teams and large scale projects for clients such as Microsoft, Kodak, MetaSolv (Oracle), HP, Sun, Disney and Valve.

As a translation manager, I have developed project workflows and implemented quality assurance measures as new projects were launched. I have great in-depth knowledge of industry best-practices and quality standards having done extensive work with ISO 9001, EN 15038, LISA QA model and J-2450.

In June 2010, I left SDL to set up realMeanings and bring together my hands-on translation and management experience to provide high quality translation and localization services.
