Each books consists of 200 to 250 pages and no words varies from 150 to 250 per page .But client is seeking quotation per page basis and their preferable quotation is Rs 50 per page as it is bulk work

Details of the project: We have a document for translation Punjabi into English of an audio file.The word count is around 15,000 words if you are interested, kindly send us your detailed resume (in English as MS word doc.) at anithagomathy at gmail.com. Our Budget is 30 paise per word. Payment will be provided soon after the submission of invoice within 30 days.
Deadline: March 1st EOD, as the project is big, we would like to have two or three translators to keep our deadline. Please also include your daily capacity / daily output.

We currently seek talented linguistic professionals to join our Language & Linguistics team on a contractor basis.

KEY OBJECTIVES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The holder of this position will work remotely with the languages and linguistics and product development teams playing a critical role in developing the next generation language capabilities required for our Adaptxt software.

GENERAL TASKS

• To assist in the development of next generation KPT UI products incorporating international languages, focusing on Punjabi
• To undertake research and provide recommendations for language dictionaries
• To install appropriate dictionaries using remote tools
• To test authenticity, validity and accuracy of all language installations or downloads
• To understand grammar, language construction and nuances of your native language and apply these to the Adaptxt software
• To convert / translate user manuals / documents
• To proof and endorse all current and future language translations
• To assist in the production of language-specific marketing collateral
• To identify important cultural differences via research / experience

Special requirements to the applicants: REQUIRED BACKGROUND

• Degree in linguistics or translation
• Multilingual capabilities in international languages, primarily Punjabi
• Excellent grammatical skills
• Solid understanding of natural language traits and properties
• Proactive, self-starter, able to work on own initiative
• Excellent:
 Communication skills, both written and verbal
 Presentation
 Proficiency in Microsoft applications
