Details of the project: We are currently looking for experienced technical translators specialized in AUTOMOTIVE (in particular, electric cars and luxury cars) and TECHNICAL domains – specific details about this experience will be requested.
Other requirements are:
- Chinese (Traditional) (Hong Kong S.A.R.) native speakers with the relevant experience
- Only freelancers (not agencies)
- 1 specific translation test + CV will be required
- Translators will be required to work in either Worldsever (online) or in Trados (offline) if passing the test
Please make sure you have any translation / editing experience related to:
Frequency: daily (TBC), 24 hour turn-around will be required sometimes; Hand Off time will be around 1pm BJT expecting the linguists to complete the assignment by 5pm BJT.
The project will be reassigned if the confirmation is not received till 2pm BJT. And for Tech pubs, they come on week basis. Hand Off time will be around 9:30am BJT. If the volume is less than 1500 words, it will probably need to be submitted on the same day. If the volume is larger than 1500 words, it can be delivered the next day.

Tool: Knowledge of CAT tools such as Trados
