Senior English Translator/Reviewer
Experienced English linguist to collaborate on a freelance basis in translation, MT post-editing and other linguistic tasks involved in localization projects.
We need a senior reviewer to support ongoing Tencent Cloud, Welfie Localization urgently, please quote your rate per word for translation, review, proofreading respectively.
The process is as below:
1. Negotiate the rate per word
2. Small test with 200 words for free
3. Sign MSA and NDA if passed the test
4. Start formal payable projects
Requirements:
• Senior English native/senior Chinese reviewer.
• Freelancer, independent worker.
• University Degree in Translation or equivalent and/or relevant experience. A degree in Computer Science is also an advantage.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in software localization, including User Interface, Online Help, Documentation and marketing materials.
• Experience in Cloud and Welfie translation will be a great advantage.
• Experience in MT post-editing is preferred.
• Proficient use of standard CAT tools and related
translation/terminology management tools, e.g. Trados suite, MultiTerm.
• Ideal knowledge of other localization tools such as Idiom, MS LocStudio, MS Helium, STAR Transit, Catalyst, Apsic Xbench, SDL Passolo.
• Excellent use of MS Office and Windows package.
