Details of the project: Trustforte Language Services is looking for a fun, dedicated, hard-working individual to join our team as an in-house translator.
The job consists of translating the following into English: Birth certificates, marriage certificates, death certificates, diplomas, transcripts, pay statements and contracts, and other types of documents (into a native language is a plus).
The individual must be able to work as a team, take initiative, be a quick learner, and have a professional attitude.
The candidate MUST:
- Read/write/understand Italian and English OR French and English, and AT LEAST one additional language (Spanish/Portuguese/German, preferred)
- Have translation experience
- be a Language or Linguistics or Translation Major or minor
- be interested in starting or continuing a career as a translator
- have proficiency in MS Word
- Must have Citizenship/Residency/Work Authorization Card
The job requires to stay late and work some weekends during our busy periods.
This is an ENTRY-LEVEL, full-time position in our office in Manhattan, NY. Paid internships available for language students.
