Details of the project: Dear Linguist,
Due to the upcoming large-volume project, we are carrying out an enquiry to find the best IT savvy linguists for
the vacant freelance position of English-Latvian, English-Russian translator and Latvian, Russian reviewer.
Special requirements to the applicants: The potential candidates must have:
• At least 3 years of practical experience in translation (preference for candidates with experience of 5 years and more)
• Experience in translation of IT related texts (creative & analytical), i.e. 100+ translated pages on the particular subject
• Experience in software localisation/subtitling or increased willingness to learn about it
If you comply with the above mentioned requirements, please send the following information:
1) Briefly describe the biggest projects during which you have translated/reviewed IT-related texts (e.g. type of the text, products described, etc.).
2) Indicate your rate per hour for linguistic review (EUR).
3) Indicate your rate per word for translation (EUR).
