Details of the project: The Localization Specialist – The Netherlands is
responsible for executing the Director of
International’s strategy for the localization and
launch of the confidential company website,
including especially the translation of web pages,
graphic assets, customer service emails, marketing
emails, and other customer touch-points. The
Localization Specialist will also be responsible for
further localization of the confidential company
website through merchandising and ongoing
contextual review/updates, based on their own
familiarity with the Dutch market. The Localization
Specialist will be expected to draw on a wide range
of resources from different parts of the company,
including Engineering, Creative, QA, Marketing (all
channels), Customer Service, and Content
Management, in order to ensure that the
confidential company website is localized. The
Localization Specialist will also be responsible for
customer service and content management related
to the confidential company website, including
responding to customer incidents when necessary.
The Localization Specialist will perform ongoing
translation tasks, as necessary.
Special requirements to the applicants: Fluent in the Dutch language including written and verbal skills.
• Familiarity with Holland’s culture, preferably having been a resident of The Netherlands for at least two years.
• Must have exceptional customer service skills with proven success managing difficult customers and situations.
• Must be a team player, have a can do attitude, and work well with others!
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing.
• Excellent computer skills; must be proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to learn swiftly and apply techniques learned in a valuable and productive manner.
• Ability to work quickly and effectively in a fast-paced, high pressure and demanding environment .
• Essential for this person to have a professional demeanor and be able to make business-savvy decisions.
• Excellent ability to follow through, pay close attention to detail, multi-task and maintain constant organization.
