The team at Lionbridge Technologies with solution centres in 25
countries worldwide is recruiting part-time self-employed workers
who are fluent speakers in Japanese and English who are based in
Japan to join its team of Internet Assessors.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in English is essential
- Fluency in Japanese is essential
- We are seeking people who have access to the internet, and are
confident in using the Internet
- Background in IT is helpful but not essential
- For cultural and historical awareness purposes you must be
resident in Japan for 5 consecutive years
The main aim of the work is to improve the quality of a search
engine’s results for all web users worldwide. The work involves
evaluating results of a web search, for their appropriateness to
the search query input. You will be required to provide feedback
i.e. your opinion of the result displayed.
The hours are flexible to fit around your family and home life,
and the position is ideal for someone looking for a work-life
balance (10-20 hours per week).
